Coming back.. ( No not the Seb Coe book from the 80s) ;)
After a disappointing run at the Southend 10k in early October 6 weeks have passed and I'm back running my next race after a good block of training.
The Brooks Brighton 10k is a race i have ran twice before and remember running fairly quick on the course, this years race was a good one!
We started off along the seafront heading 1.5km out and back before running towards the other end of the seafront for the rest of the run.
I managed to average 4.55 pace for the race which gave me a finishing time of 30.49 which i was pleased with seeing as i only ran 31.48 at the Southend 10k only 6 weeks ago!
Things must be moving back in the right direction! All i need now is to improve by 10secs per mile! (easily said then done, this will give me around 29.30 for 10k)
I have another race planned which is coming up but i will confirm that shortly!
