Hoka Constant- Review

Hoka Constant (Likes and Dislikes)

Likes-

·       Maximum cushioning with built in stability

·       Wide toe box

·       Nice tongue rap over feel

·       Good ‘rocker’ feel as you run through the gait cycle

·       No need for orthotics because of the stability

·       First run out of the box I ran for 6 miles between 8-7 min per mile pace

Dislikes-

·       A ‘big shoe’ on initial feel

·       Not suitable for narrow feet

Conclusion-

Although a big shoe I found that I could really speed up during my run without any extra effort. I would say I feel safe enough to run 20 miles on a weekend run in these shoes. The bulkiness of the shoe during the first few minutes of the run took a little bit of getting used to but after that I found they were a great stability shoe. If you are looking for a great cushioned stability shoe to help prevent over-pronation the Hoka Constant running shoes are for you.
